Piano bench
The idea that inspired us was the research for shapes and harmonies that could give the classic piano bench a new role in the home, selling not only as an object of use but also a decorative element. Carmen, Aida and Tosca are born from the pencil of the Venetian designer Enzo Berti and from Zanta’s passion for the piano, despite their function of being able to adapt to the height of the pianist, they carry with them the particularity that the lifting system is not visible to the user and enclose lines that can be perfectly integrated into the rooms of the house, which never before has proved to be the relational space par excellence as in this period.
Carmen
Carmen is the first bench designed as a decorative element for the piano and for the home. We were inspired by the protagonist of the opera “Carmen”, who never left her gypsy origins and at the same time managed to seduce men from a world different of hers. With Carmen we tried to bring our passion for the piano into contact with different worlds such as that of living, design and customization, aspects that in the world of musical instruments hardly dialogue with each other.
Tosca
Tosca’s shapes were inspired by the loops that the Grand Canal draws as it crosses and embraces Venice. A meeting between water and land that over the centuries has always tried to find a balance in Venice. The same balance between forms, the pianist’s technical needs and harmony that Aida inspires to be.
Aida
Elliptical is the rotation that the earth completes around the sun and which determines the alternation of the seasons with moments of approach and departure from our star. Aida represents the attraction that young pianists have towards the piano and at the same time the fluctuating approach and departure during study periods. Aida is the fresher variant that brings a touch of harmony in the spaces dedicated to the youngest.
Customisation
Completely handmade in our laboratory in the province of Venice, using only local products impregnated with our passion for attention to detail. Carmen, Aida and Tosca can be supplied with a mechanical or electric seat lifting system or without a system with the function of sitting only.
The benches contain the possibility of being reinterpreted in their colors and finishes by the customer, who can choose to customize them according to the style of their home.
